Interlocking Sculpture

I was inspired by my universities Walter Pyramid for my laser cut interlocking sculpture. I was inspired by its architecture and large scale. I wanted to make my own version of the pyramid by twisting and giving the structure an abstract design. This assignment was really challenging because the 3d program I used to make the cut-out layout did not render out the cut-outs correctly. But with a little muscle, I managed to get all the pieces to fit in. Overall it was a difficult process but I was really pleased with the results.
