Laser Conglomeration by James Hernandez
My main concept for this project was to use a pattern and text to make an abstract installation. I used a geometric pattern to complement an ornate graffiti / calligraphy typeface. I also used a clear acrylic sheet with the black background to give art piece a ghostly effect and give it more depth. I laser cut and engraved each piece to the glass, the results were really nice and precise. Overall, this project exposed me to the world of laser cutting and its countless possibilities.
